    Blackberry Storm?

Anyone have one? Likes/dislikes? Rants/raves? I know it doesn't compare to the IPhone, but I'd rather gouge my eyes out than stay with AT&T.

I have one - I love it. I'd prefer an iphone but I can't afford it. I've never used any other blackberry so I can't compare it. I know others find the keyboard annoying but I'm used to it.

However, it keeps switching from multitouch (a bug) which annoys me. Other than that, I love being connected and getting email anywhere there is cell service! (Also it doesn't work on wifi, but that's not a big deal unless you're leaving the country).

I hear the iphone is going to be opened up to Verizon (maybe others, but Verizon's all I heard about) next year. Had known this back in March when I got my iphone, I would have waited. I love my iphone but I'm quite disappointed with ATT.

You state the very reason I have no iphone YET. Still waiting until they open up services.
Of course I can offer no help on the blackberry...just standard ole cell phone right now.

I heard that too, but I also heard that it was just a rumor and AT&T has a very lengthy contract with Apple to keep the IPhone within their network... so no waiting for me.

That is GREAT news, since Alltel just got bought out by Verizon and I still have more than a year on my Alltel contract and I WANT an Iphone! You just made my day.

Not a rumor, according to USA Today

    It's almost 2010.

AT&T (T) has exclusive U.S. distribution rights to the iPhone into 2010, though specifics aren't known. The deal was struck in 2006, when the iPhone was still on the drawing board. Many telecom analysts expect AT&T to try to persuade Apple to extend the contract for another year, at least.

I have a Blackberry Curve and I like it a lot. I have not tried the Storm, but a friend just got one. I have yet to see it, but she tried out several of the Blackberrys and liked the Storm very much.

I just got a Blackberry Curve. I, too, wanted an iPhone but am holding out until Verizon gets them.

I decided that I wanted a real, raised tacticle keyboard so that's why I didn't go with the Storm.

Yea, my son has an Ipod Touch and I can't stand the keyboard on it. But I imagine I'll adapt when I get the Iphone, and use it a lot more.

I have a Storm. I upgraded from my Pearl in February. There was some getting use to it and reading the crackberry forums helped tweak its performance.

I'd say get it. It's almost as customizable as the Iphone.
