Peugot is French. Meaning it would need French threaded parts which are no longer made. So it would have been more trouble than you wanted to deal with. Italian bikes, on the other hand, are beautiful things (except they take right-threaded fixed BB cups).
Great find on the Raleigh, Mayanorage. The Super Course has Reynolds 531 straight-gage tubing in the main tubes.
Oil is good, grease is better.
