Your story is almost like mine. A friend of mine gave me her old Trek 2300 WSD 47 cm about 2 years ago. I started riding it a lot last year. Because I hadn't ridden a bike in over 17 years, I wasn't even thinking that it didn't fit me. I ended up buying a Madone 5.2 WSD 50 cm in March. Since I was was spending so much time on my bike, I thought I deserved something new and something that fit properly. Like you said, the difference is amazing. I'm so glad to hear that you are happy with your Madone. You are going to love it!

I am now thinking about getting rid of my old Trek since it really is too small for me and buying another Trek as either my primary commuter or a back-up to my Madone.

Hey pfunk, thanks for sharing! You start thinking you're a little crazy after riding a bike for over a year and "thinking" it was too small, but not really sure. A Madone 5.2 is definitely on my wish list... when I can beat my DH up a hill, I may reward myself with one!

Mmmmm nice. An all white bike will always be on my wishlist.
Glad you found something that felt amazing. That was the best part of my bike search, when I finally hopped on something that FIT.

YAY! I'm glad to hear the madone is loved - I just ordered my 5.2 wsd! I sure hope there are some people at Trek NOT in France right now so they have time to get mine ready to ship!!

Anybody played with Trek's project one? It's a REALLY cool program (when it works - it's a little buggy)

    congrats btw!
