    137 this morning.

GLC, I just finished reading Normal Eating. I knew most of what the author was writing about, but it really helped seeing it in print. I'm hoping to work through my problem areas - eating when bored and not being as cognizant as I should be as to when I'm full.

    Good luck to all.

starting weight: 178.2, goal weight: 167.9. In the last five years I have lost and gained weight but have never been able to drop below 170 so this is a BIG goal for me.

Starting weight is 156 (goal is still 149).

Now that I'm riding again -- just easy rides for now -- maybe that will help some.

This will help me keep with riding.

    Starting weight: 151
    Goal: 140

I usually hover around 146, don't know why I shot up to 151 (but had been holding steady there, so it's not a fluke reading). I think going back where I was will be pretty easy (already down some), but getting down to 140 is something I haven't been able to do for the past few years unless I was ill.

Ok, my starting weight is up...but whatever - it is what it is: 173.4

My chest is so swollen and sore right now that I'm having a hard time sleeping - so I know that number is somewhat inflated.

Anwyay, my goal for August 28 is: 165 lbs.

five one - I think the ideas that are helping me the most are 1) there are no off limits foods (makes everything 'bad' less desirable) and 2) the idea of the 'pause' before eating. I'm learning a lot about myself even though none of the concepts she presents are really new to me. I think its the approach that helps the most. Between that book and "In Defense of Food", I'm finding it a lot easier to make the right choices because I want to and not because I 'should'...you know?

Do you need help? If you give me the access, I can spent like an hour around 4pm on updating the new chart. You can take my access away after it (or not).

Starting a dr. prescribed detox on Sunday to see if we can't get things moving in the right direction. It should get all the pregnancy toxins out. We'll see if it helps . . .

Sounds like we are on the same page, so to speak, AND reading the same books. The 'pause' concept is what will probably help me the most - if I can just get into the habit of doing it. I tend to graze while cooking dinner and on any given day could eat a meal's worth of calories before sitting down to eat dinner. Maybe I'll make a bunch of labels that say, "Pause and think about it" and stick them to all my grazing foods.

OMG - me too! I swear that the days we eat out, I actually consume LESS calories because I'm not grazing before the meal! It's definitely my biggest problem time of the day.

I have no good solutions. If your label idea helps, you'll have to let me know!

Hey have any of you had your Lean Body Mass tested? If so, how did you have it done and who did it?

My trainer uses calipers every 4 - 6 weeks to get my Body Fat. What's not fat is lean mass. My lean mass always comes in between 116 - 118 pounds. I use the 116 number when I'm doing any calculations.

If I used 118, I'd be down to 18% BF.
