Wow. I am very sorry. My dad was 54 when he died...seven years ago. It is not so fresh, but not any easier. He died of appendiceal adenocarcinoma. He was a tennis player, a cyclist, a basketball player, a raquetball player, he ran marathons...and, as far as I was concerned, knew everything about everything. When he got sick, he was fit and healthy. They gave him 18 months to live, he lived for three years. Originally Posted by PinkBike

Oh Pinkbike, I'm so so very sorry. I'm teary and my Dad died when I was in my teens, and that was nearly 30 yrs ago. It does get better though, I promise. You smile and laugh more at the memories. But the tears never really go away, they just get easier to live with.

I know that with life, comes death. But I'm dreading the day my parents pass.
