Whew finally caught up.....
that's my boy! Voekler isn't a legendary rider, but he has heart and he never, never gives up.
and that rain... for the GC guys today was all about staying out of trouble and away from that white paint! that was some carnage. Actually according to Michael Rogers twitter, he's racing tomorrow. Said he's sore, but nothing broken. He actually finished the race today.

Of course I had to read that! He said it was the scariest day on a bike he's ever had. I wonder if it was because of the rain, or some other factor? Definitely looked slippery!

One of the riders said that area of Spain gets a lot of oil and dust on the roads that makes them extra slippery when it first rains in a while. They said it was like ice.
