I usually show N'way as shaped like a long over-the-elbow mitten. You're down in the angle between thumb and fingers. I'm up by the wristbone. Then there's still nearly all the way up to the shoulder to go before you hit the Russian border at Kirkenes. I've gotta get down to that thumb-web again soon, and now that my PhD students there are done, maybe we can meet up for coffee again, or even a ride ...?

As for the rest of the list: There're the family members, of course. UK-Eliphant, Trek420, KnottedYet, Maury. I think Trek's and my mutual SIL is a lurker, and possibly our mutual cousin in Geneva too. I've met a whole bunch'a folks at my "cameo appearances" in the Bay Area. I think there's a picture somewhere in the archives. Melody and I were one another's peloton on the infamously epic Cinderella Classic 30th anniversary ride. We didn't finish, but I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did without her. (Hi there, Melody! Haven't seen any posts from you recently. How're you doin'?). I've probably met others on CA and WI rides up through the years, but just not realized it. SaraLou was up here at the wristbone for a year doing coursework on her MA. (Hi Sarah! How's LouLou? We kinda miss her. Saw a roughcoat Jack Russel yesterday -- cute, but not as charming as LouLou. Guess we'll have to go visit her in Alaska some day. And will you be back here for your final orals?)
