Has anyone in TE heard of this website (freerice.com)? Brain challenge activities combined with feeding the hungry. Is this the real deal or is there something to it that isn't quite on the up and up?
I've done a little research and I'm still not convinced.
    Thanks - Barb

It's the real deal, Barb. It was featured on the NBC nightly news over a year ago.

Here's another website that might interest you - but without the fun challenge:

    free rice website

Thanks, guys. An endorsement by NBC nightly news is good for me. I want to believe in this charity site and its efforts. I haven't come across anyone yet who can claim that it's a scam. I would think that someone would have complained. So . . . play on and help the hungry!

It's supported by corporate benevolence...Big companies with charitable foundations (and others...) who contribute in a more creative outreach.
