The sprint tri I'm doing next weekend (along with MDHillSlug) may allow wetsuits (not sure yet) so I took my shorty wetsuit to the pool this evening to see if it would be worth wearing. What a disaster.

The short sleeves seemed to fill with water and air while swimming. And it's a tad too big, so the right shoulder of the suit kept twisting around since I only breathe to the left.

I guess I'll see if my full wetsuit, which is a size smaller, makes any difference. It's such a pain in the neck to get into and out of that I'm afraid it's not worth the trouble for a 20ish minute swim. Wish I had a farmer john but I don't, and I don't really need one for diving.

Come to think of it, I've only ever seen long sleeved or sleeveless wetsuits when watching triathlons on tv. I guess now I know why.
