    Just keep in mind that any cushioning should be in the areas AROUND the coccyx, not over it. You want to lift the surrounding parts up a bit but not have added cushioning pressing on the tailbone at all- that's why they do the donut pillow thing.

    I really feel for her- I injured my tailbone badly on my bike and it took a year to be able to sit normally again. Then for another year it was hard to sit through a movie in a theatre. Seems I'm ok now, 3 years later.
