I stopped using the peroxide last night and I think I've turned a corner. I think it's stopped oozing and now it's itching. Itching is always a sign of healing so I'm on the right track.

I'm using this stuff called Silver Sulfadiazine cream. It's a prescription cream that I got a few years ago for a fire cracker burn. It seems every summer I am dealing with some type of open wound on my leg. Three years ago it was the fire cracker that fell sideways and shot my leg while I was just sitting in the crowd watching. Then last year I decided to get the spider veins taken care of and had them injected. Well.....that ulcerated and I ended up having to have a large chunk of my leg cut out and bandaged up for about 2 months. So I have my fair share of leg scars and am really hoping and praying this heals nicely.
