Lol. I'm totally the opposite. I mean, the pavement is always hard, but if you come off the mtb there's that bit of a chance that you might land on a nice tussock or leafy bush or thick bed of pine needles or good deep patch of sand or, well, something less ouchy than asphalt. But, of course, I'm not a roadie in the slightest.
