You know it's a bad day on the water when the ferries between Perth & Rottnest Island are cancelled Winds of 65km/hr on the water I went past the coast this afternoon on my ride & noticed icky weather out in the distance..

Good thing i'm not doing any roadie stuff this weekend The track for our 6hr event has been set & awaits our practice.

How about in your neck of the woods.

It's hot but not as hot as some places! It will be 99 tomorrow and I have to work outside all day.

Record setting heat. I am a native Texan but it was 107 yesterday, a bit much for even me!

I have my longest training ride tomorrow - 75 miles. It's supposed to be in the 90's. I guess it could be worse. At least it won't be windy.

Lovely weather for us (except that we need rain). Sunny with a high of 75F today (it was 55F for my commute in this morning...perfect!).

This weekend is supposed to be sunny and into the 80's.

We're finally getting real summer weather in DC. It's actually kind of nice.

I know we need the rain but I must admit that I could do with a day or two break from it. It is calm here at the moment but they are predicting strong winds for today and tomorrow. If I ride today it will be close to home.

    rain

Perth weather...it never seems to rain when you expect it to. I wore my wet weather booties yesterday & my rain jacket under the assumption it would... It started raining as I finished my ride I sometimes wonder if the meteoroligists know what's goin on..

At least the trails are great at the moment. The pea gravel is smooshy/grippy & so much easier to ride..I'm not a fan of slipping & sliding uphill

    Auckland report.....

Saturday morning ride was foggy, thick in parts and very patchy in others........ no wind or rain though (despite being forecasted).

Managed a nice ride out to Kawakawa Bay and back . A few other cyclists out , some with no high visability clothes or lights ......

Sitting here Sunday morning looking out of the window at the rain ....... looks like a spin round the lounge to a Coach Troy dvd today

Oh the joys of a Auckland winter

High temps above 100 for, what, two weeks now? I dread what July/August will be like.

I am scared we will see 110+ for days straight. I went apartment hunting with a friend, at 10:00 we were already pretty hot. DH had planned 1 hour leg openers for a race tomorrow, I told him no way could I even do an hour in this heat. He went at 3:00 after getting home from work, crazy fool.

I would love a week of rain, what three years ago when we kept having rain it was amazing. You could ride in the afternoon in the summer. Of course, no floods needed just rain please.
