For the past three days, I've been weighing in at 141.

Not totally sure if it's "real" weight as it doesn't seem I could have gained that much that fast given that I haven't seriously fallen off the wagon or anything.

I also did just get a new scale which seems more accurate than the old one (measures in .2 lb increments and when I weigh myself three times in a minute, it gives me the same response each time, unlike the old one, which could never really settle on a weight)...

    Still, .

I did not do very well on this challenge, and am trying a whole new approach. I am following the Normal Eating for Normal Weight book, and also joined the group on their website normaleating.com. I am fed up with losing .5 pound, putting on 2, losing another .25, and doing this over and over. I am also tired of eating just because it is 7 AM, and I might get hungry in the next hour, but I am not really hungry now. I realized that I have no idea what hunger is anymore, and how little food it takes to be satiated.

I cannot recommed this book enough for anyone who has struggled with weight issues for a long time, like myself.

I went on vacation and didn't weigh in the week before and this week will be my last weigh in for awhile. I'm still nursing an injured knee and I've had to cut my rides. It's frustrating. One week I'm doing fine and then all of a sudden something quits working right. I guess I'm at the age of mechanical failure.

158 lbs at the end. Big fluctuation during the last 2 months due to mainly traveling and bad eating habits/possibilities when not at home. I am ready to change that in the next challenge!

Thanks Possegal for keeping the log!

Although I didn't lose the weight I wanted to, I did achieve a major success: I've managed to get my snacking and junk-food habit under control and am back on a real foods diet with lots of veggies and lean proteins. As long as I keep this up, I know I will eventually achieve my goals.

Looking forward to the July/August WL challenge.

Me too! I'm CycleCat over there...with the same avatar so you'll probably recognize me (though I don't post much).

    This week: 172.3
I'll still post a weight for next week, but it's safe to say that I won't be making my goal! I'll be satisfied if I don't go up any more.
