I could use some inspriration, since my first race is still quite far out. So...who's racing this weekend? And, which race are you doing?

My next is 2 weeks out but if it inspires you, I had a good strong 1:15 hilly run!

Felt good! could have gone on but my OH was bonking midway, I had to resuscitate him with half of my gel, and he was done. First time ever that he was done before me.
It's a little secret you didn't know about us women. We're all closet Visigoths.

I am inspired! Thanks. My run was 40 minutes- hilly and humid.

My runs have been dragging for a couple of months now- no physical reasons-it's all mental at this point.

But, I think I turned the corner with todays run

I'm doing my very first tri tomorrow! I picked up my numbers and chip this morning and am laying out my race gear right now...

The excitement was palpable at the packet-pick-up-- what an amazing thing to experience!

You'll be great.. good luck with the last two weeks of training!!!

Derosarah, you'll be fine. You really will. It helps if you make the only goal of your first tri to have fun.

    Alpine, what's your next race?

I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks
