nic840, what a great find! Your Nishiki is lovely and I hope you have many wonderful miles together.

Very pretty! I'm a member of the Nishiki club. I love mine, it's a tank but a terrific grocery getter. I made mine into a single speed.

    Still in my garage

    Details:

model -- 1983 Raleigh (Nottingham, UK) Clubman Lady -- asking $325 (asking price as recommended by Mike McGettigan of Trophy Bikes, Philadelphia, PA -- I am open to reasonable offers.)

    frame -- handbuilt lugged Reynolds 531 cro-moly

    components -- drivetrain upgrade
Campagnola 1996 Athena triple crank (52-40-30), 1985 Campagnola Veloce front derailleur, 1996 Campagnola Athena triple rear derailleur, S-R 13-26 six speed freewheel, 1983 Campagnola record downtube shifters, 1983 Campagnola headset (best ever made)
    original Weinmann centerpull brakes

wheels: rebuilt by hand with Sun rims. original Speidel (French) QR's
SKS fenders (replacements), new Specialized "turbo-armadillo" tires

Also included: Cateye headlights, Vista tail-light, rear rack, Nashbar bags (bags in fair condition), Cateye computer, bell, rear-view mirror, and a stock of at least 6 inner tubes.

minor flaws -- top-tube bears a scratch (covered), repaired fender stay, original 531 decals are worn

I have completed 65 mile rides on this bike. It can do more than just cruise around town for errands. Now I have 5 bikes and I need space.

    M' Lady

    M'Lady is a 19 inch mixte. It's equivalent to a 49 cm frame.
I'm listing her on Craig's list soon.

BTW: I was in Wellesly back in '98 for the LAB Rally. The cycling was terrific.
