I haven't had time to breathe in the past two days.
I put my house on the market today. Anybody wanna buy a house? Cheap! Lots of room for bikes!

As for the ride, well there's not much to tell. I was under trained and the combination of a headwind and the hills of Gettysburg whipped my arse. I pooped out at lunch, 30 miles into the 50.

My sister said my photos were boring.

It was truly a beautiful day for a ride. You can see the hills to come in the distance.

I would have made better time if I hadn't stopped for so many photos. It's a hard habit to break.

I'm in the teeny tiny green tent next to the gigantic one that I was expecting the occupants to fill with little plastic balls or a big inflatable moon bounce.

    There were festivities.

And some wildlife near Camp David the next day.

Next years ride is already scheduled for July 17th. I will be prepared and if I can talk her into it I will have company.
    Do you hear me, Catriona?

I want to thank once again everyone who made a contribution to Habitat for Humanity.

Zen, after that threat & your boring pics, how can I resist going with next year?

but.. *whine* would i really have to fundraise? All my friends & family members are cheap.

I like how you made sure your campsite had a place to park your bike.

My campsite selection was not so thought out on saturday night

Oh, your pictures take me back. I went to Gettysburg several years ago and really had no interest in going, until I got there! Everyone should go sometime. I came home and read everything I could get my hands on.

Anyway, I digress, your pictures were lovely, thanks for sharing.
