Still have to sign in, and I haven't yet heard back from Google. I'll keep trying. I know it's not a wise thing to do, but I only have a couple of different password options I use. However, they are in a foreign language, so I guess people would have a difficult time guessing (not that it would really matter anyway). Maybe Google doesn't like me using anything other than English?

Glad that worked. I don't know why it didn't work the other ways, there actually is a box for me to check that says that people can view without logging in. But maybe the link needed to then be different? Don't know. Finally I published it as html, and so that link was a bit different. I'll try and remember for the next time to do the same and to put that link at the bottom of my periodic posts.

No problem, glad to help! Now if I could put as much into watching my intake and working out, then my numbers would be moving a bit more. I saw my sister over the weekend and she's lost about 30 lobs since December, and I'm quite jealous. We are very close and yet very competitive. I can't let her beat me. But my asthma and whatever else is going on has hindered the working out, but at least the sore throat has hindered the eating. I have to be out of town for work for a bit, so I'm hoping I am well enough to also run while I'm away.

    OY, so much going on.

Weight hasn't budged this week after following a whole-foods, vegetable based diet at about 1600 calories.

I am going to the doctor today, will ask them to test my thyroid to see if we need to adjust treatment. It's the only thing I can think of.

    144

actually just below, but since I don't have a digital scale, I'll stick with 144. I was so afraid I was going to be stuck at 145 forever. Only four more til my official WW goal!

I reached my goal!!! Woohoo! Yesterday, a bit dehydrated after running 5 miles in the heat and humidity (actually quite a lot dehydrated) I was at 129.6 for the first time (well, at least in the last 25+ years). Danced a little jig while drinking a big glass of water...

More honest weight today (i.e. properly hydrated!): 130.8. And that's ok.

I wonder if next month we could include measurements on the spreadsheet as an option. I'd love an excuse to check every week and have it recorded up there.

Like waist, hips, upper arm, thigh, calf and bust?

Even with all the abundant Hawaiian buffet breakfasts, I'm at 245. Wahoo!

I swam every day, snorkeled, walked a lot on deep-sandy beaches (those are tiring!), and even paddled an outrigger canoe. It was a blast. Also got some quality time in with D*H, which was nice. We never really had a honeymoon.

I was so proud of our daughter. She's 11 and a month ago wasn't comfortable swimming across a lap pool for a swim test. It took her three tries before they let her pass. This last week, though, she was swimming in open ocean with sea turtles and all kinds of fish, not just a little bit, but with abandon. She loved it. She's even talking about being a marine biologist one day. She's so into animals. I think she grew about an inch this last two weeks, too. Hawaii was good for her.

It was good for all of us.

179.8. That's 25lbs since I started this weight loss quest. I guess I should do a happy dance for dropping into the next decade but I'm not convinced that I won't bounce into the 180's again. The really good news for me, I am no longer obese, I am just overweight.

Posting the updates as they come in. If there is an interest in measurements from folks, that can always be a second sheet. I fear if I tried to amend this one I would screw it up. But see what folks think and if enough folks want it, I can see what I can work up.
