    144

actually just below, but since I don't have a digital scale, I'll stick with 144. I was so afraid I was going to be stuck at 145 forever. Only four more til my official WW goal!

I reached my goal!!! Woohoo! Yesterday, a bit dehydrated after running 5 miles in the heat and humidity (actually quite a lot dehydrated) I was at 129.6 for the first time (well, at least in the last 25+ years). Danced a little jig while drinking a big glass of water...

More honest weight today (i.e. properly hydrated!): 130.8. And that's ok.

I wonder if next month we could include measurements on the spreadsheet as an option. I'd love an excuse to check every week and have it recorded up there.

Like waist, hips, upper arm, thigh, calf and bust?

Even with all the abundant Hawaiian buffet breakfasts, I'm at 245. Wahoo!

I swam every day, snorkeled, walked a lot on deep-sandy beaches (those are tiring!), and even paddled an outrigger canoe. It was a blast. Also got some quality time in with D*H, which was nice. We never really had a honeymoon.

I was so proud of our daughter. She's 11 and a month ago wasn't comfortable swimming across a lap pool for a swim test. It took her three tries before they let her pass. This last week, though, she was swimming in open ocean with sea turtles and all kinds of fish, not just a little bit, but with abandon. She loved it. She's even talking about being a marine biologist one day. She's so into animals. I think she grew about an inch this last two weeks, too. Hawaii was good for her.

It was good for all of us.

179.8. That's 25lbs since I started this weight loss quest. I guess I should do a happy dance for dropping into the next decade but I'm not convinced that I won't bounce into the 180's again. The really good news for me, I am no longer obese, I am just overweight.
