    would the Original Poster please tell us what kind of saddle that was? Leather, plastic, foam?

    Mine's leather. No smell. But I can bet a padded seat that doesn't dry out after a ride could really smell, ie. hot garage (see the camelbak thread ). I know my jerseys don't smell pretty after a ride. And my sister has forgotten to wash her gloves--wish I'd been there for that accidental sniff.

    I agree--a no sniff policy is best--but you guys broke me down

    Ohmygod! Ive been recovering from a sprained neck and inflamed shoulder tendoncombo plus chronbic fatigue attack AND mutiple colds( and its too damn cold to ride outside or Id be crying my eyes out missing my cycle!)- and this cheered me up!
    Apparently, from what I am told( as I dont get too close to most cyclist men, Im too slow!) alot of guys dont wash their shorts as much as the girls.
