    I'd go over to bikeforums and find if there is a serial number database you can search and find its date. The serial numbers are usually on the bottom bracket or on the rear dropouts.

    I can't see the photos either.

    You might try looking on www.bikepedia.com. I've identified several bikes that way...

    Yup! They had three - one in my size, one in my BF's size, and one more - a 53, I think. Well, now they only have the 53.

    The shop owner said that they came with the shop when he bought it a few years ago, and was anxious to get rid of them. Ruby Canyon Cycles, in Grand Junction. We only stopped in for chamois creme...

    Plus, cable run is under the toptube, not over - not the cross bike, but same paint.
