Yesterday I did stair sprints at the World's fair pavilion in forest park. I'm not really sure if it's an adequate AI for running, but it's 48 steps up which I run, two at a time and then sort of saunter back down.
I did that for 30 minutes-- feel great today!

has it really been that long?!) has given me a chance to recharge my running batteries a bit. It's been nice having the extra energy for the tough rides, but not so much since I knew where it was coming from. 
didn't have a lot in reserve after yesterday's ride but felt pretty much all right.
