Lisa- Congrats and enjoy the "getting to know you" phase. Tortilla's name came out of nowhere so you will find a name when she is ready.

Elk- What a cutie. Must be the name, my niece Emma is the cutest but biggest PITA. Way more so than her big sister and smart as can be.

Our pound kitty, Tortilla, is really coming out of her shell. She plays with Heidi and has a signature move that I can only describe as a round off. She turns on her front paws and gently kicks Heidi with the back ones. I am slightly concerned that after two weeks she is already getting chubby. We probably should start measuring her food.

Oh, we are so totally in love with her! She keeps doing new wonderful things and surprising us in some new delightful way every few hours.
After endless consideration.... we've named her Suki. It really suits her perfectly and DH and I both love the name.

Aggie-ama, Tortilla sounds like a real winner. I love that she and your dog took to each other right away- that's so rare! Isn't it wonderful to have a new 'baby' in the house to fawn all over?

Suki--that's a great name for her. Welcome home, Suki!
