    Kent Island Cross-Island Trail

    I finally passed something yesterday on the Cross-Island Trail that was moving slower than I was on my folding bicycle.

    LOL, love it! Many years ago, I used to run on the C&O canal, just outside of Washington. The beavers who lived in the canal swam faster than I ran....It was a little disheartening to see them pulling ahead of me with ease, but never failed to make me laugh!

    I believe that it is a snapping turtle.
