    That's a good point. I noticed certain socks will prevent hot spots.

    I have less of a problem with hot spots when I wear the thinnest socks I have.

    Nope, I wear bear feet in my shoes! I can't fit socks in my Sidi shoes with the E soles in them, so I go barefoot now.
