Wow, did that happen on the road? (As opposed to mountain biking?)

I never ever had to have a camera repaired, because after 5 SLRs were stolen (sequentially) I gave up on nice cameras.

Got the bag! Sam at Detours figured out a way to get it shipped to me FAST. It fits my bike like a charm (it was a concern because I have a small bike and 38 cm handlebars) but it's actually quite small. My 300mm lens won't fit in it, and even the 18-55 is a tight fit on a small-ish Canon Rebel XT body.

I'll carry the spare lens in a special lens bag in my Carradice saddlebag and hope for the best. Otherwise it just never gets used, so I'll deal with the risk rather than have no chance at all to get pictures of those flamingos in the Camargue park.

    Pics in two weeks.

I'm looking at this bag - but I can't see how the handlebar attachment looks on any website. Can you take a picture of yours? I have flat wide handlebars on all my road bikes and I'm not sure if it'll fit on those. Then I've got soma sparrows on my surly, and I'm not sure if it'll fit on the shape of those either.

    Thanks!

All in the 1970s and 80s.

    2 house break ins
    1 car break in
1 in a car that was stolen
    1 in an airplane
