    The only way I would carry my SLR on my bike is in a fanny-pack type bag attached to me.

    But that just me, the kid who had to have her camera repaired because it got shaken up on the rack.

    I never ever had to have a camera repaired, because after 5 SLRs were stolen (sequentially) I gave up on nice cameras.
