    Eeyow, cool winds are arriving!

Oh boy! My favorite web weather guy (http://www.komonews.com/weather, Scott Sistek) was so right! The cooling winds from the coast just whooshed themselves here and they're blowing the 90 degree air right out of the house.

Man, does that ever sound and feel good!

I just got back from walking the dog for his last outing of the day. Boy is it refreshing out there!

Your cool winds got down here to the Big Easy. Currently 70F, breezy, and overcast, makes me feel like I'm in the PNW instead of the sub-tropics! And we're supposed to have our office picnic today.

    The dog is a sweetie-pie.

He was actually a little sick yesterday, and I had to get up during the second period of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final to clean up. While I was up, my Pittsburgh Penguins scored 3 goals in 6 minutes to take the lead, 4-2.

As a sports fan, I am superstitious enough to think that this is pretty good evidence that I have The Gift, and if I want my team to win, perhaps I should avoid watching the rest of the series . . .

Gordy seems back to normal this morning -- he probably had too many training treats the day before

my son said it was like a little hurricane at his house. winds from all directions, their house fans were going crazy.
    such entertainment.
However, this morning, the temp (60) was the same as it was wed and thursday morning! hopefully it is cooled down, the heat makes my solar panels not perform as well.
It makes ME not perform as well either!

Excellent picnic weather, Beth--have fun! Nice to not have to sweat heavily during the staff picnic.

Me too, possibly...I hope this doesn't mean you're going to feed Gordy many treats during key playoff games, thinking it's actually his puking that did it for the Penguins, you know.

    Yeah, also me too.

And now I have to take my cold to work. Colds are a pain in the ***.

    ***.
It did occur to me that maybe Gordy has The Gift, and not me . . . but that would be animal cruelty to feed him treats that make him sick not to mention a messy, smell house . . .

I think I will stick to sacrificing my own enjoyment of the game for the sake of the outcome.
