I dunno, but suddenly my biking clothing seems distinctly unfashionable.

I dunno, but I want one.

[I could tell right away this was from Garnet Hill. Love that catalog.]

I have no clue, but I think that her dress is cute....

I'd tuck those sandals in the basket and ride in proper shoes.
What a great dress! (for her)

Awesome dress. If only I didn't have this crazy tan that has four different short lines (patrol shorts, bike shorts, and short shorts), sleeve lines, and, of course, white feet. And my bruised, scabby legs are not model worthy. Sort of depressing.
On the up side, I had a woman in handcuffs today, we were waiting outside the jail door while the judge did arraignments. She was very pleasant, and we were chatting away when she chirped up, "Hey, by the way, you have GREAT legs. What do you do to stay in shape? You look really fit!" She was a prisoner, of course, arrested for warrants, but I will take it where I can get it.
I may try to track that dress down anyway. Its lovely.

Just saw this on the ctc website - maybe we should all go back to that dresscode - it would solve the tan line and visible bruise problems!

    What to wear in 1899
In honour of surpassing CTC’s membership record set in 1899, I thought I’d take a look back in the1899 Gazette, the name of CTC’s magazine at that time. ‘The Ladies Page’ for June includes some advice on the problem of what to wear in hot weather: “Most ladies solve it by riding without their coats, regardless of the fact that the view from behind of light shirt, waistband, bit of skirt and saddle is far from becoming…to me it seems a better plan to substitute in summer a cotton coat for the usual tweed, and to make the underclothing as light as possible. White piqué or drill is best for country riders and brown Holland for Londoners and economists.” So there you have it, ‘ladies’, if you are feeling a bit hot when you cycle, the trick is not to wear a tweed coat!
One day, I'm going to buy a cottage in a small village and become its idiot!
