I must say I really don't like the red bike shorts. I agree that it's hard not to look - it acts like an eye magnet! - but to me it's just "too much information". Like a woman with very, very, very low waist jeans and no panties, not even a string. (or a man, for that matter... but i've never seen a man in that situation!)

I especially dislike when it's a guy on the podium wearing them!!!

I have warned my riding partners over and over every time they talked about buying new shorts... Usually, knowing that, they opt for the black. Grey is very nice too...

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

Na! Na! Just see things you wouldn't normally see with regular shorts. I dont really want to get descriptive though. Let me just say, if you aren't a natural blond and you don't want anyone to know, then these shorts shouldn't be worn.

My cycling coach has these blue shorts and i think he only has blue shorts. I think it might be worse than the red. They just stand out so well.

I told my husband (he is away will show the picture when he returns) not to go buying any red shorts. Perhaps Zub Zub I better tell him to add blue to the list. Dont want him scaring or perhaps thrilling the neighbours.

From what I've seen, navy blue is okay, electric blue is more problematic. Same problem with some flashy green and orange. My guess would be that all "shiny" colors make that because they allow innocent bystanders to see shadows better...

Umm..No matter how patriotic cycling teams are i don't think showing your gerbils like that is sexy....that's just plain scary...

The OH sometimes wears lycra to my dismay and i always tease him about showing his gerbils off..

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
