Shiloh's really warming up to the world!

Yesterday a little girl in the 'hood wanted to pet him and walk him. In the past he was terrified of children because he was abused by some before I got him. But he wagged his tail and let her pet him and even walk him on the leash. This is a huge improvement.

He's also been very wary of strangers, to the point of pooing out of anxiety. Tonight my neighbors had a garden party, and I brought Shiloh over because someone wanted to see him. He was a bit shy at first, but then warmed up and let everyone pet him. As people were oohing and ahhing at him, he just relaxed and settled down at my feet.

After about 20 minutes, I took him home and he asked (with the bell on the door) to be let out into the backyard. So I did. About 15 minutes later, my doorbell rings--it's my neighbor with my dog. Apparently, he escaped through the fence (gotta fix that again) and returned to the party on his own for some more lovin'!

Great news about Shiloh and that's hilarious that he went back to the party. What a party animal!

I've posted photos of my two rescue mutts before. I started agility with the second one, Finagle, because she was so incredibly soft that she could barely function from the terror of daily life. Agility has been wonderful for her.
So, I started my 10 year old extremely fear aggressive mutt in agility. He's 20 lbs and has 3" long legs - a body not made for agility.
But, he loves it! He gets along with the people and dogs in class and just enjoys life!

and this is him hanging out waiting for his next turn to run the course
