It would just be so funny...Fiance' is quite concerned; he doesn't really care what else I do, but this song is important to him, and he brings it up weekly.

Be yourself, to the extreme!
I wish I was a musician so that I could help you out! It sounds like a great idea!

I don't know the song, but my sister's boyfriend is an excellent guitarist and (better) bluegrass mandolin player, with a better than decent voice. I'll see if he would be interested.
Here he is playing "You are my sunshine": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0cJzTgauCo and the St. Anne Reel on mandolin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWOZE...eature=channel (there, he auditioned for you)

I think it is a wonderful idea, and I hope you pull it off.
Lisa plays banjo. It would be wonderful on a banjo! lol.

if you do bittorrents, you might search for the song by name. There are someunexpectedly strange and bizarre renditions of aall sorts of songs out there. Examples might be a steel drum version of the James Bond Theme, reggae version of Stairway to Heaven, etc.

Would you like to see if a member of my flute quartet can arrange it for 4 flutes? It would be very classy and highbrow, I'll say!
