Sounds great, Tulsa. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and good luck with your rides!

    Hide the alcohol

I've *heard* he likes to indulge.

Well.. we'd have to hide it from a LOT of cyclists.. You should see the can/bottle carnage after a general Wednesday Night club ride!! LOL

Cool pic of you and Floyd. I think all those pro racers are just teeny little men.
    The t-shirt is funny.

    Question for BabyBlue in Tulsa.......

What do you suggest I wear for the ride Saturday morning. The weather says that it will be low 60's when we start at 8am but the day is going to reach 90. I had planned on wearing a sleeveless jersey (hate tan lines) and just my shorts but am now wondering if I need to wear a short sleeved jersey and my knee warmers. I hate to wear more than needed and just have to find somewhere to put it later when I take it off but at the same time I don't want to freeze.

Oh, and btw I am only doing the 50k so I should be done by 10:30 which will be way before the 85-90 weather sets in.

    What are your thoughts?

Hi Beth! I'm certain you'll do just fine with a short sleeve jersey, but since you are concerned about tan lines, how about a sleeveless but use arm warmers untill you get comfy with the temps?

You'll warm up quickly though, so unless you get chills easily, you're prob ok without warmers. There is a hill in the first 5 miles that'll get you warmed up from the get-go. :-)
