    I never quite understood banana protectors that have been around for ages. Guess some people are real fussy about their banana(s).

    Why not design one for..lovely mangoes or peaches? OK, we won't go there now.

    I've actually seen "Frootguards" (can't remember the name for sure) for apples, pears, etc. at the kitchen store on Granville Island. Not quite as cool as the banana guard though.
