Thanks much for the update. I do still think of Jenny, tho I didn't know her, I feel as if I did.
Hopefully the fund raising we did here awhile back helped someone, somewhere.

I've never heard of this horrible case before. I just read all the awful details. I hope this conviction gives her family peace and closure. What a monster.
I don't get comfort from the sentence but I do get comfort from the conviction.
But I also heard that she fought like a woman - hard - and that's the biggest comfort of all.
Rest in peace, Jenny.
Whatever the sentence (I don't want to debate the death sentence) I am glad her family has closure. Having a friend murdered I know nothing dampens the pain but knowing they were punished some way does help a tiny bit.

I often ride the Silver Comet Trail and many times have ridden past the spot where he grabbed Jennie. It's a terrible tragedy that she died doing what she loved so much and there's really no punishment severe enough to pay for what happened to her.

You know reading through these posts again something came to mind.
I DO NOT want to get into the death penalty debate. BUT I do remember that Jenny and her family were devote christians. So I really wonder how they feel about the sentence.
I do hope they have had some sense of closure. sigh.... so senseless!
