IPod Case for bike

Does anyone know of a good way to attach an IPod to bike. I have an armband but do not want to wear it now that summer is here (creates unsightly tan lines ). Is there a way to attach it to the handlebars so that I can get to it when I need it. Fishing around for my IPod in my back pocket is not working well. I checked the Apple accessories page but did not find anything that would attach to the bike.

Just my humble opinion, but I think it's potentially dangerous to have something attached to you and attached to the bike. Odds are pretty high that you'll forget to remove it when you get off the bike, or worse, if you fall or something, it could be very painful to have them ripped from your ears or helmet. I know people clip a shuffle to their jersey pocket or sleeve hem.

I have a helmet light that I would love to attach the batteries to my bike, but I just know that I'll forget and it will just be a mess if I get off the bike.

I attached my Garmin case by zip-tying it to the handlebar stem. Maybe you can do something similar with your ipod case?

I rip my earbud out of my ear constantly as I ride (and that's with the shuffle clipped to my sleeve). It's soft and doesn't cause any pain or anything except an annoyance that I again pulled the thing out and have to get it back in my ear as I ride.

You have to get the clip system, but it works well. I use this when I ride the trainer.

I have one for my nano 3g and it works great for running. I attach it to my pants, just below the waistband, because it bounces around too much on my shirt.
