When it comes to cutout, no one does it like SMP. I rode the Lady TRK for a couple of years, but it is just a teensy bit too narrow for me (big boned) and caused problems at long distances. I really miss that cutout.
If you like the SMP line and you're looking for a narrower model, try to find one of the bike shops that does SMP loaners. That way you can try before you buy.

Have a look at the EXTRA and HYBRID variants, they are narrower at the front, making pedalling somewhat easier than the TRK model
