Maybe you should organize at least a 100 mile group ride ...to get all those donuts eaten (and not everyone will want a donut, no matter who made it).![]()

Has anyone tried the low fat Holey donuts? I receive an email from Hungry Girl and they talk about them. Looked on their website and those donuts look delicious but pricey. Just wondered if anyone tried them and if they are worth it in your opinion. They do offer free shipping for a limited time but they require four orders of donuts... they sure look good![]()

Or you just ride 100 miles and eat a couple regular fat donuts and then stop![]()

I can't imagine eating a donut that had been shipped from anywhere... or mail ordering any kind of baked goods... but maybe that's just me.![]()

I can imagine getting them. I think they look pretty yummyI love those Vitamuffins that hungry girl reccomends.
Dingdingding. I'd say go with this option, except I'm not into donuts. I'd have a scoop of ice cream or maybe a slice of pie instead. Mmmmm..... pie.
I haven't tried these donuts, so I can't help you there; but I've ordered some gourmet frozen foods online. They were spendy but worth it. Once I ordered some Chesapeake Bay crab cakes. Boy, were they tasty. Lump crab meat with very little filler. I haven't found a restaurant that makes them that good. (It's been something like 5 years so I have no idea if the quality is still there.) My neighbor used to order from Omaha Steaks when she had a bigger budget. She says they were worth the $$$. Oh, and I just remembered that I ordered a Harry and David care package for Dh when he was gone for 6 mos. It contained some baked goods along with other goodies. He loved it. So, all I'm trying to say is they might be really good.
ETA: I just took a look on the site. It looks like the donuts are frozen. If you have the freezer space it might be worth it. Maybe you could find a friend with whom you could split the cost?

The vitamuffins are really great. Apparently the donuts are a healthy alternative, no trans fat, low fat etc etc and arrive frozen to your door. I've looked at their website and they are a temptation. My problem would be trying to stop at one donut.
If you go to a doughnut shop and buy two doughnuts and ride away to eat them a little later, then there's no temptation to eat more, because there will be no more. You don't have to buy a dozen doughnuts. You can buy just one or two.
Good idea, Tulip.
If you're gonna have a doughnut, have a real doughnut.
The only exception i make for stuff like that is low-fat/reduced fat ice cream.
