Yes Tulip - I did find this practically new frame and fork at a garage sale, unbelievable!!!

Apparently the seller is a cyclist. He bought the complete bicycle for his wife, she did not want to ride though - and so he parted it out and sold the components, and now they were selling the frame and fork at his garage sale.
Of course I could not ignore a Bianchi... the two Bianchi sisters at home would never approve thatand so I decided to rescue it.
I had a few parts sitting in the garage (crankset, handlebar/stem, seatpost, seat, cable housing) - and so I ordered what I did not have (shifters, derailleurs, Campy cables, cassette, chain, wheeels and pedals) to build it up. It took a while to get everything, and a few evenings to put it together, but I'm quite happy with the results!
Today I took it out fr a longer ride and it's actually pretty fast for a compact. And not terribly heavy either, came up to 19lbs altogether so fairly decent for a training bike.
As per the seat - yes, my saddles has the nose tilted downand it's been like this on every bicycle for over 30 years. It's very stable and comfortable for me. Go figure it out...
