    Emily: I don't know about their road bikes, but the most dominant female XC mountain bike racer ever (Norwegian Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesja) races on Merida bikes http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/articl...nety-six-14445

    Merida is a big company like Giant. Quite famous for its MTB series. Its road bike Scultura EVO FLX also received quite good review like the one below.

    If I remember right. Merida owns part of Specialized, and they do manufactoring for them
