I was eating potato chips as I started reading this thread. Than remembered saying I wasn't going to eat chips anymore in an earlier post.

    They are now put away.

    Glad to have the accountability.

Weighing in a day early as I will be getting up before I go to bed tomorrow to catch the early morning train and start the journey from the end of the world to CA (or at least that's how it seems when you have to get up at 4am, catch the 5:30 train, spend 3.5 hrs on the train just to get to the airport then three flights to get to CA).

Anyway, not much movement this week. Stacks of exams to mark and meetings to rush to kept me too busy and rushed to cycle much. But my weight is ever so slightly down from last week: 211.8. I'll take whatver small steps I get. And next week while in CA I'm sure mom (Duck-on-Wheels) will keep me on track, then the week after is ALC when i'll at least get enough exercise. Hopefully when I get back the numbers will be better...

I figured with the holiday folks would be weighing in on varying days, no biggie!

Good luck on your travels UKe, and can't wait to hear about your ride!

131...yay! I have been good this week...and three rides, and tons of yard work, mulch spreading, rototilling, and garden planting. I hope I have plenty to do next week to keep this up. I am very happy to say that reading this thread makes me stop and think before I eat something "bad" for me. It is a real motivator. I did NOT go to aerobics today, though, as I am preparing for a weekend of guests. ...but I plan to ride this afternoon if I can.

    Have a great weekend everybody.

129.5 - no change. I'm rather enjoying eating in maintenance on WW , though if actually want to drop the last few pounds I'd better quit eating the extr afew points I've been allotted.

I'm heading to Pendleton for ~225 miles of riding in 3 days. The weather is predicted to be PERFECT, so I'm really looking forward to it!

I've decided to not try to record for WW this weekend, since I'll be out of the house for 3 solid days. Besides no home cooking, I'll also not have access to my computer and I don't feel like keeping track of it all on paper while I'm riding. I'll instead use all of the strategies I've learned over the past 6 months to eat sensibly, listen to my body and trust myself to make good choices all weekend.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend!
