Wow Mimi, that's a long ride. I'd be sore too!
You earned your long hot bath.

a "vino" ride
Not much to report on the ride, only except I'm getting better on the 'bent. And I "only" did 59 miles!
Very short ride today - three reps up and back the stretch of hill I've been practising on lately. Managed to stand in the pedals for longer than previously and pretty sure that on the last rep I had two gears to spare, so happy with that. Then went to the gym and did weights![]()
I had a great ride with my daughter today. We got 72.17 miles in over some pretty hilly roads. It was sunny and warm and we had a great time together.
We stopped at our favorite espresso stand for refreshing cold drinks and then a McDonalds for lunch. The cheeseburger and fries really hit the spot!

Went with the Mister out to explore the old Dawley Park section of Arcadia SF... a good percentage was hiking/climbing/scrambling over and around boulders the size of household appliances with our bikes on our shoulders... who knew the North/south trail was so... technical? This was my first time on trail with clipless and I really liked it and hated it at the same time. It's a real mind game. I know in time I will get better if I keep doing it but I'm just so darned scared of falling and getting boo boos. About 15 miles in 3.5 hours and included such treasures as rain, mud, skunk cabbage, poison ivy, bramble, swamp yankees, and abandoned cars.
I can do five more miles.
