Yesterday was my bday, so I celebrated with a 3 hour SS MTB ride. I was having a blast about an hour into the ride when I had to turn around due to an impassable/flooded trail. Up the next hill and *POP* went my chain.
No problem, usually. I checked my CamelBack - chain tool - check. Spare links? Uh-oh! I called DH who played Knight-in-Shining-Armor for me. He drove out with some links, fixed my chain, and sent me on my way for the rest of my ride!
A great way to celebrate turning another year older...

Happy Birthday, Shefly. Today is my birthday!
Yesterday, I rode all around the island, and did my big hill. I was feeling kind of achy, but felt better once i warmed up. It was a really pretty day.
Today is also pretty, but I think I'm not riding. I've got too much celebratin' to do!
