    I bit the bullet ...

I purchased a Valkyrie touring bike and it is at my LBS being assembled. I plan to use it on my upcoming tour of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. The gearing should be kind to the knees. I pick it up on Wednesday afternoon after work (actually I may leave a little early). I am finally going to embrace the fact that I have three bikes (steel, titanium, and carbon) all with differing wheel/tire sizes (26 inch, 650, and 700). I'll just have a small mechanic shop in the rear of my Element!

Please post more about your new bike...I am considering a Valkyrie for my new commuter bike (though not the commuter, either the touring or cross model)...
