    No, he wasn't unusually tall -- well, not until he got on the bike, that is.

    Not bikes, but interesting...on today's ride, I saw a group of about 10 people riding Segways. I guess there's now a rental place in my town. Yippee ! Yet another cycling interference!

    I can't wait for summer to be over.

    This is a tall bike my nephew made. He calls it Phobos.




    And this is Kurt, a great guy and fabulous mechanic who built up (& repaired) my Lynskey, with the touring bike he designed and built up for his trip from Berkeley to the tip of South America.

    Wow, that's a tall bike. How does he get on it? What are the white things just above the front wheel?
