Pfew! When I see the words "Bush" and "Texas", I thought this was going to be political!

I encourage you to see a doc. When Silver did something similar, she had 5 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. TWO WEEKS later, they figured out that she also had broken her wrist

OMG! Please get to the Dr and then get your bike checked out and then get a new helmet.

    Great story by the way!

Chris - I can just see you emerging from the middle of a shrub and into a spring deluge. What a sight that must have been! Glad you're warm and dry now. You are going to a doctor, right?????

Agh. Negative on the doctor, I have to have a limb (to make a pun) hanging off to go. I am really stiff and pretty bruised today, but ok. My thumb was a casualty of Tuesday's fall on patrol....it is already getting better.
Superman felt terrible about not warning me...but for heaven's sake, I have eyes and I know not to try to take a little curb like that without giving it the correct angle. I was following along like a sheep. Tuesday's fall on patrol was the same sort of thing but I was watching a vehicle and lost my line and did the same thing on a road with construction.
Thanks for the well wishes...I am working tonight but because rain is forcasted will be in the car. I will replace my helmet, and probably, sadly, a shifter.
AND, I will certainly check for ticks...I hadn't thought of that. Shudder.

At least you've made a good story out of it! Your disorientation (not knowing if you'd fallen) is the skerry part... I've heard of people coming out of the woodwork, but out of bushes? That's originall...

I do wish you would go to a doctor, you sound seriously concussed and that's nothing to mess around with.
