I'm down to three (finally!). One road, one tourer/commuter and one mountain bike. I love all three and doubt there will be any additions to the stable until I can afford full custom.

My H is down to 5 and that's pretty good for him.

We lived in an apartment (2 BR) when we first moved here for about 5 months and the bike situation was a real problem. We had a grand total of 11 bikes at the time. Luckily, we were able to also rent a garage for *most* of the time we lived there. It only became a problem in the last two months when we gave up the garage to save money. We put 4 bikes that weren't being ridden regularly in our new home and I immedately sold one of mine. That left 6 in a small 2 BR. Three in the spare room (with a computer desk and two large dog crates!), one on the balcony, one in the living room and one in the second bathroom. The worst part is that we have a dog who is terrified of bikes when they are in the house. I'm surprized she survived those two months with no long-term mental damage!

    1 road/touring
    1 folder (road)
    1 mountain bike

Been wavering over whether to outfit the mtb with a rack for neighborhood errands and groceries, as I have not taken it out in a few years due to injury and being too busy with school/work. But still hoping I'll find the time to get out on a trail one of these days.

Wow....I don't feel so bad any more. I was thinking I was out of control with 4:
    • Galanas (Waterford Road)
    • Edwina (S&S coupled Waterford)
    • Surly (rain and winter slush bike--with a brand like Surly she doesn't need another name)
    • Tank (Cannondale hybrid with snow tires)
