    Please release me....

It is official, my neurosurgeon released me on Thursday. Hooyah! Once again he made me promise to wear a helmet -- I imagine he's seen the worst case scenario when it comes to head injuries, since he's a trauma surgeon. Anyway, I am fixed, with cautions. There is always a risk I'll need additional surgery because of the DDD, but it's a very low risk.

Now if I can get this shoulder b.s. fixed, I'll be back on my poor lonely bike!

Here's hoping you don't need to visit the hardware store again!

Do you think you'll be back on your lonely bike soon?

Snap, you're hardcore! Not everybody wears hardware inside their bodies. Body piercings are so last century now. Glad to hear you'll be back in the saddle. Watch out world!

Isn't it amazing what they can do with a couple of pop-tops?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Congratulations on your recovery.

You can tell him I'll nag you.

Perhaps we can celebrate our return to biking simultaneously. Now would that be Epic ???

Is it just me, or does that hardware resemble a couple of links from a bike chain?

    Congratulations, Snap!

    It does!
Hey and did you know, the singer from Kraftwerk( a very famous German electro seminal band from 80s, who also did a great song called 'Tour de France' have a peek on utube) used to ride 280 km( or was it miles) a day.
Well, HE crashed too,on the only day he NEVER wore a helmet! When he woke up three days later, after being in a coma, he said( drum roll) HOW IS THE BIKE?!!!

    Glad to hear your ok!

Woohoo. Your hardware kind of looks the link of a bike chain. I envy some titanium but not that kind!

I thought the exact same thing - about the bike chain! Now you are bobble-less?

Get that durned shoulder fixed up!! We want you on a bike!
