Riding with tunes

LOL, no worries! The joys of being the new guy.

It's just one of those topics that many have definite opinions on, one way or the other. And it does come up pretty regularly

I ride with earbuds- in both ears. My training rides are long-- really long and while sometimes I enjoy the silence and nature I also enjoy a good beat while riding. I ride in pretty remote areas so traffic is minimal.

Honestly, I'm not concerned at all with what's coming up behind me because I wouldn't be able to do anything about it anyway. My head is on more of a swivel (front and sides) with tunes then when I'm not riding with tunes because I don't take anything for granted.

It's also a force-field to belligerent motorists shouting obscenities at me

I know this may not be the mainstream opinion.
