Any recommendations for knee pads for general XC riding? I ride with shin/knee now and find them to be pretty restricting. Just hate getting my knees banged up!

+ 1 one the Kyle Straits. I never notice them when I'm riding except a few times I have snagged them on my frame. They have definitely saved my knees more than once. (I tend to tumble on technical climbs)
